I’m not one of those women who is making peace with not being married and not having children.

For me, it is a choice.

I grew up in an environment with married couples, unmarried couples, and unmarried singles so I knew I had a choice. 

From what I observed, marriage didn’t make life better and not being married didn’t make life worse. 

But also people never asked me about marriage or kids so I wasn’t subjected to the social pressure a lot of women.
